Brittingham Jr. has been indicted by a grand jury and faces a list of rape and
sex offense charges for an incident in September.
"The attempted second
-degree rape is the top count of 20 years. He is charged with the actual
second-degree rape, and attempted second-degree rape and then he is charged
with a myriad of sex offense charges: second-degree assault, false
imprisonment, sodomy and attempted sodomy," said Wicomico County Assistant
State's Attorney Kristen Schultz.
