A Maywood cop named Ryan Allen
West was sentenced to 19 years in state prison after pleading no contest to
sexually assaulting five women while on duty over a two-year period starting in
2006. He pleaded no contest to five felonies including two counts of rape and
three counts of penetration of a foreign object. The victims were 20 to 50
years old. At one point, West faced a total of 42 counts but under the plea
deal accepted by Superior Court Judge George Lomeli, 37 of them were dismissed.
West admitted to sexually assaulting the five women.
