Tenn. (AP) — A Memphis police officer has been indicted on charges of rape and
misconduct.A statement from the Office of the District Attorney General says
30-year-old Aaron Reinsberg
was indicted Friday on three counts of rape and two counts of official
misconduct.Police Director Toney Armstrong
said in a statement that Reinsberg turned himself in, and has been released on
bond.Armstrong said Reinsberg has been on the force since January 2011 and was
assigned to the entertainment district. He has been suspended with pay.It
wasn't immediately clear whether Reinsberg has an attorney.
