At about 10:56pm, on Sunday, January 13, 2012, officers from District E-18
(Hyde Park) responded to a call involving a domestic dispute. On arrival,
officers spoke to the victim who stated that she was sexually assaulted by the
suspect. The suspect, a Boston Police Officer, later turned himself in after
learning that charges had been leveled against him.
Officer Henderson Parker has been charged with Indecent Assault & Battery
and Rape.
Parker, an 18 year veteran of the department, has been suspended with pay and
his firearm has been confiscated pending the adjudication of the legal
proceedings against him.
Additionally, the Boston Police Internal Affairs Unit is also investigating
the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
