BOSTON —A
Boston police officer has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in
Roslindale.Police
were called to a home at about 11 p.m. Sunday and spoke with a woman who said
she was assaulted by Officer Henderson Parker.
Parker,
an 18-year veteran, later surrendered and was charged with indecent assault and
battery and rape. He pleaded not guilty in court Monday.Parker has been suspended with pay, and his firearm has been confiscated. The Boston Police Internal Affairs Unit is also investigating the incident.
In 2002, Parker was suspended for 30 days following “a physical confrontation of a domestic nature that resulted in injuries,” the Boston Globe reported.
